Platform Guidelines

The platform’s policies oblige content makers to tag lifelike AI-made content, and it bans malicious deepfakes of well-known individuals or emergencies. Any authentic-looking AI-generated clip that is without a tag can be deleted under its user guidelines.

Additionally, the service will henceforth apply an AI-generated label to content created with its proprietary AI systems, or identified by an industry-wide initiative for recognizing content made by AI. This measure is intended to deter users from attempting to bypass the disclosure requirement.

AI Literacy Programs

It is set to eliminate a significant number of roles in its content moderation division in the UK capital, with trade unions and online safety experts voicing alarm that people are being substituted by AI moderation.

A company official stated that human moderation would continue to be important, but artificial intelligence can safeguard staff by removing the most harmful content ahead of it has to be seen by humans. The platform announced a notable drop in shocking and graphic content reviewed by human moderators over the previous year due to intervention by its machine learning processes.

We believe it is crucial to balance staff and AI to maintain a secure environment,” she said. “We’ll have humans as involved in the system, but we additionally believe it’s extremely critical to reduce exposure to harmful content as rapidly, which is the area in which a significant AI assistance is making a difference work at speed.”
